Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Over the past fortnight, students have enjoyed Book Week, a science incursion, Responsible Pet Ownership incursion, Ecolinc for our F/1/2 students. As always, these opportunities provided to the students enhance their learning experiences and align with the Victorian Curriculum. In week 9, our Grade 3-6 students will be venturing to Melbourne via public transport (an experience in itself!), and heading to the Royal Botanical Gardens. This will be a great experience for our students!

Storytime

We had a great first session of Storytime for the year last Friday. We look forward to welcoming our 2025 Foundation students, and any other 3 and 4 year old children from the Anakie community on the dates listed in the flyer below:

Trivia Night

Get excited - Anakie PS is hosting a Trivia Night on Friday 13th September at the Anakie Football/Netball Club. We invite past, present and future members of the Anakie PS community, as well as family and friends. Get your tables organised, you can either purchase individual tickets or whole tables but get in quick so you don't miss out! Thank you so much to the Anakie FNC for supporting our event. This is strictly an 18+ event, drinks available at bar prices, bring along snacks/nibbles to share with your table. It's going to be a great night, professionally hosted.

We are also seeking voluntary donations for our silent auction and raffle - don't hesitate to get in touch if you have got something that you donate. We have already had some wonderful items donated - don't miss out on the night and make sure you're in attendance to purchase one of the great items! You can book your tickets at https://www.trybooking.com/CUKKU

Wishing our students involved in the Kids In Space Showcase all the best for their presentation on Tuesday. We can't wait for you to share your project with the rest of the school at our next assembly.
