Our Grade 5/6 students enjoyed cooking for their Humanties and Social Sciences lesson at the end of last week. Students were required to chop up the ingredients, including bacon and onion - and there may have been a few tears caused by the onions! The end result were yummy quiches that were enjoyed by all students and staff. Thank you to Mrs Cavanagh and Brendan for all their assistance in supporting the students with their cooking skills.

Anakie Primary School was lucky enough to receive a grant from the School Breakfast Program for some new kitchen appliances to support students in their school cooking classes. We are still awaiting the arrival of these items, including air fryer ovens, blenders, juicers, and other appliances, that will see all students have to opportunity to engage in cooking at school.
